Grace Lai
Memorial Fund
The Grace Lai Memorial Fund was established in 2010 after the passing of one of SAN's founding members, Grace Lai. Grace was a well know on site artists in the Chicago area. She was a SAN board member and strong supportor of the arts in the Chicago area. The Grace Lai Memorial Fund supports the SAN Annual Members Show. This exhibition offers each member an opportunity to exhibit one of their works and compete for show prizes. More importantly, this show allows the artists' works to be seen by a large audience. The exhibtion demonstrates to the public that older artists are still creative and creating.

Ways to Donate
SAN relies on donations to continue its mission, and now more than ever, donations play an important part in supporting the mission. Government and private foundations are not providing as much support to arts organizations as in the past, and those that are providing funds have cut back on their contributions. All donations are 100% tax deducatble because all money collected is used for programs for older artists. SAN has set up a memorial fund in honor of one of its founding members, Grace Lai. This fund provides support to SAN's annual members show. The funds will only be used to for that particular show. You can also make a donation to the organizations general operating fund. All other SAN programs are administered out of the fund.
